2:01 The first lesson to learn from "The 4-Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferris is to ask yourself just one question while you are working: “Are you being productive or just busy?”. Like the new rich say: less is not laziness. Are you really being productive, or are you working, because your employer thinks you should work from 9 to 5? Use the 80/20 principle of Pareto to change your time management.

2:48 The second lesson to learn from "The 4-Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferris is to emphasize your strengths, don’t fix weaknesses. Improve your strengths, because these are the points where you can make a difference and maybe even build a business on. Fixing your weaknesses will only lead to small improvements and will not make a big difference.

3:07 The third lesson that you can learn from this book is that relative income is more important than absolute income. What would you want? Earning 100.000 dollar, while working 80 hours per week, or earning 10.000 dollar, while working 10 hours per week. Like I said, the new rich value time over money. What can you do with 100.000 dollar if you’re always working? Having 10.000 dollar is much more valuable if you have the time to do fun things in life. It’s not about the amount of money you have, but about the right combination of money, time and energy.

3:46 The fourth lesson is to focus on using a low-information diet. Tim says for example that you shouldn’t read the news. If it’s important, other people will be talking about it. Also social media won’t do much for you. You should get your information from books, TED talks and other podcasts, like the New Rich do. You can now be way more productive and save a lot of time for more valuable things if you skip a lot of this non important information.

4:17 The fifth and last lesson is to delegate everything you can. If you truly want to life the 4 hour workweek you have to use a virtual assistant to do the work for you. You can use a virtual assistant on sites like Upwork, which is really cheap and they can do a really good job for you. Focus on the most important work you really have to do. All the other things can be delegated.
