My Greatest Game: France vs. Scotland 2007 by Craig Gordon | ESPN FC

video thumbnail
Celtic and Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon joins ESPN FC's Mark Donaldson to looks back on Scotland’s famous Euro 2008 qualifying win vs. France at Parc des Princes in Paris. Gordon reflects on what he calls a “heroic performance” against a French side containing world stars like Franck Ribery, Patrick Vieira, Claude Makelele, Lilian Thuram, Eric Abidal, David Trezeguet and Nicolas Anelka. Gordon also remembers James McFadden’s brilliant long-range strike that secured the 1-0 win that he himself assisted! Finally, he discusses how disappointing it was to miss out on qualification for Euro 2008 despite doing the double over the 1998 world champions and picking up a healthy 24 points from 12 Group B games.
