Rena Rasouli & No exPLANation in a musical performance, which attempt to mix traditional and modern art, using information from Cretan Renaissance poetry.

Rena was born in Crete in 1990. She started playing the piano at the age of 7 and she attended singing for the first time by participating in "Kostas Mountakis"choir. Later she attended music theory and harmony lessons. She has been the lead singer in various bands in Crete. At the age of 19, she moved to Athens for "Theatrical Studies" at the "National Kapodistrian University" and she had the chance to attend acting lectures for two years with Sofia Filippidou and cello lessons with Aris Zervas. Currently finishing her studies in modern singing and mentored by Natasha Flouri, she has begun recording her compositions as Rena Rasouli and Venus Volcalism.
