I had no idea how much my symptoms of C-PTSD overlapped with several other disorders and how often C-PTSD and PTSD, are misdiagnosed as bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.

It makes me wonder how many people are out there suffering from the wrong diagnoses of bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder but are really suffering from PTSD and C-PTSD, along with having to take medications meant to treat something else entirely. All medications have the potential for side effects, and many are ugly, unpleasant, and at times life long.
