The Taliban has warned of consequences if the US does not stop flying drones over Afghanistan. The group has accused Washington of violating international law. They said it also breaches commitments made to the Taliban during peace talks in Qatar. Despite pulling troops out of Afghanistan, the Pentagon has said it will continue air strikes against the Islamic State and other terror groups. Meanwhile, the White House has been forced to defend itself over the chaotic evacuation from Afghanistan after US generals called the decision a "strategic failure".
