Counter-terrorism exercise held at Raffles Place MRT station

More than 250 police officers and staff from various agencies sprang into action during a counter-terrorism exercise at Raffles Place MRT station on May 24. One scenario showed simulated attacks on commuters by three assailants at the station concourse. Police officers managed to neutralise the "attackers" and rescue "casualties". SMRT also used new artificial intelligence tools to detect anomalies within the station.
