(8/23/2017) Dustin Rubinstein, director of the Translational Genomics Facility at the UW–Madison Biotechnology Center. The development of CRISP/Cas9 genome-editing technology is sure to change the way the think about — and solve — problems in the world of biomedicine, agriculture, engineering, and, of course, biological research. We will discuss the tools that had been available before this revolution, CRISPR and how it is used today, and how it is hoped that it will shape the world to come.
