Iran’s “Morality Police” Returns to Streets, Intensifies Crackdown on Hijab Rules "Violators"
Iran has reportedly announced a new campaign for women called “Noor” that coincides with its strike on Israeli territory. The campaign aims at intensifying a crackdown against hijab rule violations. Iran‘s hijab rules dictate all women to cover their heads. After the campaign was launched, videos of women allegedly violating hijab rules being forcefully arrested emerged on social media. The videos reportedly showed women being violently dragged by morality police for arrest. According to reports, the victims have come forward to narrate their ordeals of physical & sexual assaults during the arrests and detentions.
