Yoga And Ayurveda, Sister Sciences: A Talk and Demonstration with Peggy Kelley

video thumbnail
Principles of Ayurveda and ideas about how they might support your yoga practice. Ayurveda and Yoga are sister sciences. Peggy deeply believes that when we learn the principles of ayurveda and practically apply them to our yoga practice and our lives, we are forming a new world. Yoga is defined as the study of consciousness itself and Ayurveda is defined as the study of life itself. As intelligent beings, we need to look at our lives and see what we can do to make them more sustainable, how we can be more resilient, and how we can enjoy ourselves more. Happiness is a goal of yoga and ayurveda. Hopefully, some of the principles discussed in this video will help you understand how to bring that happiness to yourself and the people around you.
