Majidah Hashim discusses the importance of a Gap year in everyone's career life. a cancer survivor and entrepreneur , she is an advocate for taking a break from the routine day to day life, and take a chance living Courageously, Genuinely & Organically.

Majidah Hashim is Founder and CEO of Seven Tea One, a social enterprise with a mission to alleviate poverty through economic empowerment and education. She is also currently the Director of Measurements and Reporting for the UN Global Compact Malaysia Network. Majidah has headed Sustainability, CR and CSR departments for various MNCs and GLCs in Malaysia for over ten years. She is a Certified Sustainability Report Specialist (CSRS) and Assurer (CSRA) and co-author of the GRI Airport Sector Supplement (AOSS), currently the most widely used sustainability reporting framework for airports used in the world today. Majidah is an environmentalist and a fan of Futurism, Emerging Technologies, Disruptive Innovation and Urban Farming. Majidah is inclined towards visual and performing arts and regularly contributes to the theater industry as a playwright, libretto, director and actor.
