The NBA is the best league in the world, but when it comes to defense and referee decisions is maybe one of the worst. WHY? It's a simple answer - The NBA is the most watched basketball league all around the globe and is surely the most wealthy basketball association as well. People want to watch highlights of their favorite players and high-scoring games, not like the Euroleague where defense is from start to finish. Once Luka Doncic said that it's easier to score in the NBA than it is in the Euroleague and it's true. In the euroleague the teams play good team defense, they full-court press, fouls aren't called for every physical contact between players. Nik Stauskas also confirmed that the defense in the NBA is a little bit softer and that in the Euroleague players play more defense.
