Since the 1960s researchers have known that LSD and psilocybin / magic mushrooms can help one overcome a fear of death. In recent years this researched has commenced once more with many terminally ill cancer patients finding that a single high-dose psilocybin session has the power to cure the anxiety and depression produced by the prospect of death.
