Mike king was named New Zealander of the year in 2019 for his work as a mental health advocate.

In this episode, he talks about his introduction to cocaine and how his addiction almost killed him. His path to sobriety and how he transitioned into a mental health advocate. Also how I Am Hope and Gumboot Friday came about.

Mike's a guy that knows his stuff, just from talking to so many thousands of New Zealanders. So I really hope there are some takeaways in here that all of us can use.
