5 years ago a doctor told Laura she would never run again due to a knee injury. This year she has finished the NZ track season unbeaten! She holds the national titles for the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m. Basically, if she turns up to a park run somewhere in New Zealand, she will smoke you.

We chat about her incredible season, her time in the USA on a running scholarship, her partner's interest (or lack of) in her running and the heartbreaking reason she started running when she was 12.
