Review of Leifheit Pegasus 200 portable clothes airer dryer |
|
This is an especially well designed clothes airer which arrives fully assembled apart from the pair of swivel-castors which snap on.
To each side of the central 90x65cm flat airing shelf is an opening wing (40x65cm) which, when opened, gives a drying area of 175x65cm. Clothing, linen or bedding can be hung or draped over the rails and the 5 supplied multi-purpose hangers clip firmly into the lugs on one end of the rack for drying and airing shirts. To the front are friction hangers for socks, underwear or other small items and a supplied peg bag can be fastened to either side of the airing rack. It can be used indoors or out and, conveniently, can be wheeled through a doorway, even while loaded. The flat airing shelf is perfect for woollies and other items which have to be dried flat to preserve their shape and a light clip-on mesh sheet ensures items don't pick up a striped imprint from the shelf while drying and prevents small items falling between the rails. Leifheit has thought of everything, as usual. Build quality is typical Leifheit, ie the best I've seen with all parts fitted securely, moving smoothly, locking into place with a reassuring click and no metal parts exposed to catch on clothing or rust. When not in use, it folds flat for storage. Available from: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JLH7PL0 |
