What is Yin Yang? They are the fundamental theory of Chinese philosophy and I-Ching divination. Yin and Yang are not nouns but adjectives. They are not used to identify things but to describe them. Everything on earth can be categorized by these two energies. Yin and Yang share three important features. First, they are opposite to each other. Second, they are equal to each other. Third, they are interchangeable.
