How to Send Videos in Gmail (iOS, Android, Mac, PC) |
![]() |
You can send videos in Gmail on mobile and computer.
You can do this on the Gmail app on iOS and Android and you can do this on PC or Mac at gmail.com. There is also a way to send larger file sizes and large videos (larger than 25 MBs) via Gmail and we will cover that in this video. To send video attachments on mobile, launch the Gmail app and click the paperclips icon to add a video attachment. You have three options here. You can record a video using your phone's camera and attach that video, you can attach a video from your phone's library if the video is already on your phone, or you can attach a link to a video from Google Drive if the video is larger than 25 MB. To send a video in Gmail on your computer, go to Gmail.com and click compose an email. Chose the paper clip icon again. Choose a video you want to attach. If the video is under 25 MBs, it will attach it directly to the email. If the video is larger, it will prompt you to upload that video to the google drive folder, attached to that Gmail account. It will create a clickable link and add it to your email and your recipients could simply click that link to view or download the video. This is the best way of sending big size files via Gmail.
