Lyrics :-
aisee muhobbat se ham baaj aaye
jo dil ko jalaaye, sataaye, dukhaaye
dil ko jalaaye, sataaye, dukhaaye
aisee muhobbat se ham baaj aaye
jo dil ko jalaaye, sataaye, dukhaaye

bana kar tumhe apna kya hamne paaya
bana kar tumhe apna kya hamne paaya
khushee lut gai chain dil kaa ganvaaya
khushee lut gai chain dil kaa ganvaaya
bade gham sahe aur bahut dukh uthaaye
aisee muhobbat se ham baaj aaye

tasavvur me tumse hui kitanee baate
gujaree bahut jaag kar hamne raate
tasavvur me tumse hui kitanee baate
gujaree bahut jaag kar hamne raate
kabhee hamne chhup chhup ke aansu bahaaye
aisee muhobbat se ham baaj aaye

aisee muhobbat se ham baaj aaye
jo dil ko jalaaye, sataaye, dukhaaye
dil ko jalaaye, sataaye, dukhaaye

Storyline :-
After procuring a degree in medicine, Dr. Anand [devanannd]returns home to Bombay to take charge of his late father, Prakash Narayan's, estate. He is bequeathed an old car and a village, Phoolnagar, and accordingly decides to re-locate there and open a dispensary. Enroute there he meets with Poonam[madhubala], who escorts him to her residence, where she lives an impoverished lifestyle with her ailing widowed mother and two brothers, Tirchhe and Nandu. Anand treats her mother and is permitted to live there but does not realize that Poonam has fallen in love with him. Then Tirchhe, who disapproves of Anand, makes a deal with the Rani of Sangrampur for Rs.25,000/- to get her three-time widowed brother, Raja Sangram Singh, married to Poonam - leaving the latter no choice but to openly express her love for Anand. But he unknowingly spurns her, the marriage takes place and she re-locates to live in the palace... Written by rAjOo

Superb acting by Madhubala

I have watched this movie over and over again many a times. The movie is real sad and I hate to see my favorite actress end her life. When she changes her wet dress to Dr. Anand's pants & shirt she is awesome, she even adapts a dialect and talks in firangi Hindi, she looked gorgeous like her contemporary Ms. Marilyn Monroe. This scene is enjoyable. The music is very good Madhubala looked stunningly beautiful in the song "Mahfil mein jal uthi" also "Aisi mohabbat se hum baaz aye". The essence of the movie is the outstanding performance of Madhubala. No matter what role she plays she pours her all into it and you get carried away by her spontaneity. From a care free village girl when she is forced to marry Raja sa'b she instantly acts as a "Rani/princess" and behaves as one hundred percent Royal, she is poised she is very convincing. There is one thing about her that people may not have noticed that all the different roles she played she observed the customs of that genres, and is very righteous, sticking to right and wrongs, she never disobeys. Like when her brother, Yakub wants to take her back home she refuses to go and says, "Bhaiyya when have I listened to you, so why would I listen to you now? For the honor of Raja sa'b I would not leave mahal, now only my dead body will go from here". Even though she is madly in love with Dr. Anand, but she knows she is also a wife and Rani of that maharaja, she shouldn't cross lines, and she did not. Personally, I don't want to see Madhubala die, but this is a movie and she is only playing a character, a part. The movie is sad but I love to watch Madhubala. Her acting is perfect to a tee. Nice movie.
