Hi I hope you like the video! I've tried my best to cover all the parts in it. Below mentioned are the details so that you can plan a trip for yourself:

Note: This is not a promotional/sponsored video. I've mentioned all the details so that you can get an idea of what you are getting yourself into. For more details kindly contact professionals or you can also reach out to me.

Kedarkantha Trek is in Sankri, Uttarakhand. No, this is not the Kedarnath Trek (which is also in Uttarakhand). It is different from Kedarnath.

Kedarkantha Trek usually takes 4-5 days (as mentioned to us by everyone whom we talked to regarding this) to complete the trek as there are various spots to stay on but we did it in 2 days i.e 1 night stay at the base camp, 1 day of hiking and 1 day of coming back to Sankri.

You can go by a public transport for which you will have to switch the transport multiple times as there is no direct route to Sankri. The trek starts from Sankri itself. There are multiple locations to stay in Sankri and the trek is at 5 mins walk from each of the locations.

We travelled using our own vehicle and stayed at 'Matri Devi Homestay', hired a trek guide as this is an easy-moderate trek and we thought it would be more convenient to hire a professional but you can go alone if you feel like.

It is important to know that there are no network connections in Sankri and even few villages before reaching Sankri. Jio sim might work at few points but otherwise wifi is also not easily available. So make sure you contact your friends/family approx 60kms before.

Important things to carry for the trek if you are travelling during winter:
Rucksack, Jacket & Track Pants (water repellent), Woollen Clothes, Woollen Socks, Gloves, Trekking Shoes, Gaters for Shoes, Spikes for Shoes, Head Torch, Power Bank, Water Bottle, Tissues, Toilet Roll, Sunscreen, Lipbal/Vaseline, Cap, Shades etc.

NOTE: Please make sure your health is completely fine before you go on a trek and consult a professional before going if you have any sort of health issues or you take any daily medication.

YOU CAN DO IT, IT IS NOT TOO DIFFICULT!
