Our last stop as we backpack Chile was the Capital, Santiago. Even if you travel to Santiago Chile for a short time then you are bound to stop here and be sure to eat some Chilean food.

This is one of the main things to do In chile.

The start of our 48 hours in Santiago was checking in to our cute little Airbnb not far from plaza de armas which we visited after we settled down. When we were here we tried the delicious completo hot dog. The is one of the main food dishes in Chile.

Next we took the metro to the huge Gran Torre Santiago, the tallest building in South America with is connected to the ginormous Costanera mall, 6 floors of shopping heaven. We went to the top of the Gran Torre to get the best views of all around Santiago. The city with the amazing Andes in the background is something special.

Visiting Santiago Chile was the end of our Chile adventure and the last stop in South America. We have backpacked South America for the last 8 months and it's been absolutely life changing. On to our next adventure, keep watching 😊
