UK Troops Assigned to NATO Battlegroup in Estonia

The Cold Weather Operator's Course was held close to Tallinn, Estonia, and participants included the 3rd Armoured Engineer Squadron of the British Army, the 127th Battery Royal Artillery of the British Army, and the Royal Air Force's Aviation Task Force. The training makes sure that Estonia's NATO battlegroup, which has the United Kingdom as its foundation country, is prepared to fight in the harsh winter weather of northern Europe. The seminar was attended by Royal Air Force personnel who are now serving at the adjacent Mari Air Base supporting NATO's Baltic Air Policing mission.
