This is an ideal role for a true sports fan with journalistic experience, involving overseeing hourly BBC Sport bulletins for the BBC News Channel.
People in this role work closely with Presenters, Assistant Producers and Broadcast Assistants to put together headlines, stories and pictures. They need to be able to set the sports news agenda and meet sports audiences' hunger for information. The job involves checking through briefs, cues and scripts and being held fully responsible for what goes out on air.
