The 2023 Lecture was delivered by Paul O’Leary, Sir John Williams Professor of Welsh History at Aberystwyth University and a leading expert on Irish migration to Wales.

The event was moderated by Rae Howells, acclaimed journalist, poet, and author of the 2023 Wales Book of the Year shortlisted book, ‘The Language of Bees.’

With an introduction by Denise McQuade, Consul General of Ireland, Cardiff.
