From Spring 2020, these are the last of my online lectures from when I was an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. The first 2/3 of this Introduction to Literature class, focused on fiction and drama, had been in person; the final third, on poetry, were online lectures during the pandemic. This one discusses Ezra Pound's "In a Station of the Metro," T. S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock," and Sylvia Plath's "Daddy." The course syllabus is here:
