This Overwatch 2 developer update goes into much more detail about the future of Overwatch 2 balance changes and they also gave us a time frame of when we can expect the first real Overwatch 2 balance patch. This came shortly after the 10/13/2022 Overwatch 2 patch notes that dropped hours earlier. The scariest thing about this Overwatch 2 dev blog is that it gave some insight into their thinking and mindset when it comes to making an Overwatch 2 balance update and based on what they said it sounds like we might run into the same issues with bad balance as Overwatch 1, but hopefully not.

Additionally this Overwatch 2 developer blog talks about the new Overwatch 2 hero: Kiriko, as well as Genji, Sojourn, D.Va, Zarya, Sombra, and even Symettra and Torb. They even went as far as saying there might an Overwatch 2 nerf for Symmetra and Torbjorn! I think that's far fetched, but we'll have to see! There was no mention of the Overwatch 2 bastion bug, or the Overwatch 2 Torbjorn bug in this Overwatch 2 dev post. Regardless of all of this, hopefully we'll see good changes come to Overwatch 2 rather than bad ones. I personally love this game and hope the best for it.
