* Western Cape authorities say schools in the Overberg and Cape Winelands education districts will remain closed today due to damaging winds and inclement weather.
* The Electoral Court is expected to issue an order in the uMkhonto we Sizwe party's case against the Electoral Commission today. The IEC and former president Jacob Zuma faced off in the Electoral Court yesterday over the correct interpretation of the Section which has effectively led to Zuma being disqualified from standing as a candidate ahead of the May 2024 polls.Meanwhile, Zuma has cautioned the Electoral Commission from meddling in the business of Parliament. Zuma says the Commission must exclude themselves from political matters and focus on delivering free and fair elections. * The case in which South African authorities are seeking the extradition of two men implicated in the killing of Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane will this morning resume in the Manzini Magistrate's Court in eSwatini.The brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande are accused of killing two more people in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal between February and March last year.
