The Goodwood Festival of Speed is all about celebrating, well, speed. So it’s a natural fit for Polestar 1. Returning after its 2018 outing, Polestar 1 continued to impress crowds at the 2019 festival, showcasing Polestar’s minimalist design language and commitment to sustainable materials. But this was all a prelude to the main event. Later in the day, Polestar 1 took to the Hillclimb circuit to show what electric hybrid technology can really do. Polestar chassis engineer Joakim Rydholm was behind the wheel, hitting maximum speed and demonstrating Polestar 1’s agile handling and all-condition control.
