Toward a gender equal health and care workforce: A new social contract for women |
|
Canada boasts one of the world's most diverse populations. Despite their high education and skill levels, internationally trained health care workers often face obstacles when trying to join Canada's health care workforce. Furthermore, in addition to gender, the health workforce's experiences are influenced by various factors such as race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. WGH Canada is hosting an event to gather diverse perspectives on the Gender Equal Health and Care Workforce and explore how to establish a new social contract for women health and care workers.
