A Lecture by Jonathan D. Quick, MD, MPH at the Mortara Center, Georgetown University in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011

What will it take to ensure good health for the poorest? What is a strong health system? Can the vision of universal coverage drive health systems strengthening?

Dr. Jonathan D. Quick, President & CEO of Management Sciences for Health and a member of the Harvard Medical School Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, discusses the necessary shift from a disease-specific approach to global health to an integrated health systems focus, drawing on examples from Afghanistan, Haiti and Rwanda.

The lecture is part of a series exploring global health related topics at Georgetown.
