Rakul Preet Singh delivered a suspense crime thriller film titled Cuttputlli. She featured alongside Akshay Kumar in the film which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 2nd September. Basking love for multiple movies in the year Rakul Preet Singh spoke about her upcoming movie Thank God.

This year in 2022, Singh appeared in Attack alongside John Abraham. She then shared screen space with Ajay Devgn in Runway 34. Now her latest release marks an OTT film Cuttputlli opposite Akshay Kumar. She will be next seen in Thank God again with Ajay Devgn and the two will be joined by Siddarth Malhotra. Thank God is a comedy-drama film written by Amar Kaushik and directed by Indra Kumar.

Talking about her upcoming film, Rakul Preet Singh said, “It’s Thank God a Diwali release which we’ve announced. Kumar sir has directed the film and I’m really hoping that it will touch people’s hearts because he knows the pulse of the audience.”

She further added, “It’s comedy and has a lot of emotion. I just happened to see the film about two weeks back and I walked out with the feeling that we really wanted the audience to go through it. It touches your heart, and it’s like a Munnabhai-(MBBS)-meets-Oh-My-God space; not that it’s got anything to do with that but that’s the space. I think it’s entertaining and I think people will hopefully go to the theaters to watch it.”
