We really enjoyed a day trip from Helsinki to Tallinn with a 3-hour guided tour in the city.
In the morning, we boarded a ferry to Tallinn from Helsinki’s port and reached Tallinn before noon. The tour included buffet breakfast in the ferry - it has very wide selection of dishes.

We were greeted there by our local guide, who took us from the harbor to explore the Tallinn Old Town. We covered the highlights of the city, The Main Square, Tallinn Town Hall, Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral and Toompea Castle.

Tallinn is Estonia’s capital on the Baltic Sea. It retains its walled and cobblestoned Old Town, which is home to cafes and shops. The Old Town, dating from around the 15th century, is Estonia’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the guided tour, we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the city and stopped by to drink hot chocolate at the local shop. We finished in the evening and we were transferred back to the Port to prepare to embark for Helsinki. On the way back, we've got another buffet dinner meal which included in the tour price.
