Worldwide, the proportion of male to female educators in primary education is not 50/50; in fact, it is more common to have female educators. While female educators contribute enormously to primary education and student performance does not depend on the gender of the educator, males themselves benefit from being in primary education. In this talk, Edward Banks makes a compelling call for males to enter primary education.
