The teaser of Amar Akbar Anthony was released on Monday. Featuring Telugu actor Ravi Teja in three different roles, the teaser promises to be an interesting emotional thriller.

We don’t get much of plot details from the less than a minute teaser. Amar, Akbar and Anthony (all played by Ravi Teja) are living in three different places but seem to be connected by a tragedy. Are they identical triplets? We can’t say anything as yet. But, judging from the teaser, the tone of the movie is very serious as opposed to Ravi Teja’s usual brainless entertainers.
Amar Akbar Anthony is directed by filmmaker Srinu Vaitla, a frequent collaborator of Ravi Teja. Earlier, the director-actor duo joined hands for films like Nee Kosam, Venky and Dubai Seenu. Srinu also has blockbusters like Dookudu and Aagadu to his credit.
The upcoming movie marks the comeback of actor Ileana D’Cruz to Telugu cinema. She was last seen in Devudu Chesina Manushulu (2012). The movie also stars Vikramjeet Virk, Sunil, Abhimanyu Singh, Sayaji Shinde and Laya among others.

Amar Akbar Anthony is slated to hit the screens on November 16. This will be Ravi Teja’s third film to release this year after Touch Chesi Chudu and Nela Ticket.

Ravi Teja has not had a great run at the box office as his films released earlier this year were unanimously panned by critics and fans alike. It remains to be seen if Amar Akbar Anthony will help the actor end the year on a positive note.
