Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, in a video posted on Twitter, addressed his investors after withdrawing the fully subscribed Adani Enterprises' FPO. Reportedly, the share sale is under scrutiny by SEBI, India’s market regulator. The controversy was kicked off by a US short seller, Hinderburg Research, who bet against and accused the Adani Group of accounting fraud, stock marker manipulation, and money laundering, among other allegations.
