On July 21, 1999 Steve Jobs introduced AirPort and the first iBook at Macworld Conference & Expo in New York City. Actor Noah Wyle made an appearance at the beginning of the keynote, posing as Jobs in a reference to his role in the TV movie Pirates of Silicon Valley. Apple also introduced QuickTime TV.
