We recently connected with Atlanta producer Grimlin for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about coming up on the Southside, starting to make beats in the 6th grade, his older brother introducing him to Southside & Waka Flocka, Southside telling him about FL Studio, getting his first placement with Kap G while still in middle school, his creative process when cooking up, going to high school with Lil Keed & producing for him, watching Keed’s career blow up, Keed making him his producer tag “Got This Shit Poppin”, his older brother Mexiko, Keed naming his album ‘Long Live Mexiko’ after he passed away, Keed’s creative process, his reaction to hearing Keed had passed away, having unreleased music with Keed that he hopes he can release one day, working closely with ATL Jacob, their chemistry when cooking up together, other producers he has been collabing with, producing “RR Activities” for Kap G & 03 Greedo, reveals he has a lot of upcoming music with Greedo, getting a placement with P Yungin, upcoming placements with Rock, Future and others, goals, and much more!
