It can be an excellent teaching tool for young surgeons,” said Dr Yan Chun-hoi, Clinical Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Joint Replacement Surgery. Dr Henry Fu Chun-him, Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor who was in charge of the robotic joint replacement project commented: “Joint replacement surgery for patients with complex hip and knee deformities used to be a nightmare for both the surgeon and the patient, but with the aid of robotic technology, surgery is a lot safer and guaranteed.” For more: http://www.med.hku.hk/en/news/latest%20robotic%20arm%20assisted%20joint%20replacement%20%20technology%20for%20enhancing%20surgical%20precision #Mako || Follow HKUMed || » Homepage https://hkumed.link/home » Facebook https://hkumed.link/facebook » Instagram https://hkumed.link/instagram » Twitter https://hkumed.link/twitter » LinkedIn https://hkumed.link/linkedin |
