Here we have one of our students and pro fighters athletes doing some heavy bag workout with an oxygen mask. The reason we use oxygen mask is to reduce the supply of oxygen that comes into your body and this way we increase the level of difficulty.

Heavy bag training is a must and very important if you want to work on your stamina, timing, combinations and cardio.

At our Kyokushin dojo, our Fighters as well as beginners do heavy bag workout on a regular basis. It develops your punching power and certainly improves your cardio, endurance and stamina.

Although we highly recommend heavy bad training for everyone (beginners or pro), we would like to advice you that heavy bag workout with an oxygen mask is only suitable for very experienced athletes.
