“Mu'aadh al-Juhani narrates that Rasulullah [Peace be upon him] said, 'Whosoever recites the Quran and practices upon its injunctions, the reciter's parents will be given a crown on the day of Qiyaamah. The brightness of that crown will be more intense than the brightness of the sun in your actual house.'

Rasulullah [Peace be upon him] further said, 'What do you think will be given to the Hafiz (reciter) of the Quran himself?'”

يا حامل القرآن
قد خصـك الرحمن
بالفضـل والتيجـان
والروح والريـحــان
يا دائـم الترتـيـــل للذكــر والتنـزيــل
بشراك يـوم رحيـل
ستفـوز بالغفــران
يا قارئ الآيات في الجمع والخلوات
تزهو بك السماوات
وتنتشي الأكوان

Oh you who’ve learned the Quran by heart

The Gracious will single you out (on the Day of Judgment) to be superior and wear the crown

and he will endow you with happiness and provision (in paradise)

Oh You have leaned the Quran by Heart

The Gracious will single you out (on the Day of Judgment) to be superior and wear the crown

and he will endow you with happiness and provision (in paradise)

Oh You who always recite the Reminder and the Revelation (Quran)

you shouldn’t be worried when you leave this world (pass away)

since on that day you will win Gods forgiveness

Oh you who recite the verses in a congregation and in seclusion

the heavens are proud of you and the worlds rejoice (at your recitation)

Oh You have leaned the Quran by Heart
