In this talk professor reflects on how to fight the patriarchal order through a home-based struggle. She explains the ‘double shift’ phenomenon for working women and where the problem lies. She also gives some strategies to tackle this issue and how to share the housework with others, essentially males, that we live with.

Professor has graduated from Bogazici University in 2009 earning a BA in Political Science and International Relations. Later on she has attended University of Essex and earned a Master of Law (LLM) in International Human Rights Law in 2010. She has a great experience of project execution and management. She also has human rights and EU specific research experience and has been heavily involved in Essex Business and Human Rights Project and has been a researcher for the project between 2011 and 2012. Currently professor is conducting research in transitional justice/post-conflict justice field towards a PhD thesis.
