Linus will share his personal travel chronicles that outlined his courageous journey beginning from Hong Kong towards his ultimate destination—Cape Town, South Africa. Indeed, he isn’t just an ordinary tourist who goes after cities, snapping photos on picturesque popular sites, ignoring the little things around and missing the very essence of the place. It’s about making friends and establishing a lasting and genuine connection with the world. The journey not the destination. The first step that led him to his thousandth. But, would he do it again? Would he pack his bags again and go to a place that is full of uncertainties? Is he ready to try to speak the language he can’t even understand? 513 days, 24 countries and 25,000 km… The Hong Kong born and raised post-80s, Linus Cheng, successfully completed his bike ride journey on 8th October 2017, from Tai Po to Cape of Good Hope in South Africa!
