This is our Pinoy version of Lo Mein, super easy to cook and another budget friendly recipe. Basically you can add any vegetable, these are the vegetables I found in the market but you can also add mushrooms, beansprout, mange tout whatever vegetable that will make you happy add it to this dish it will all work out :-) In cooking the possibility is endless.
INGREDIENTS: SERVES 5 400g Egg Noodles 500g cut up Chicken wings 200g Carrots, Julienne 200g Green Beans, Julienne 1 red onion, slice however you want 1/2 clove garlic, crushed 1 bunch of pakchoi/bokchoi 1/2 cabbage, chopped 1 green chilli For the sauce: 1 cup chicken stock or 1 chicken broth cubes dissolve in 1 cup of warm water 3 tbsp soy sauce 3 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp fish sauce 1 tsp sesame oil salt and pepper to taste 1 tbsp brown sugar 2 tbsp cornstarch dissolve in cold water (optional) Fried garlic and Calamansi for toppings Bon appetit! |
