في يوم من ايام التظاهرات الذي كان يشهد استشهاد العشرات من المتظاهرين دبت في مسمعي اغنية تقول زومبي زومبي بحث قليلا لأجد الملحمة التي حصلت في ايرلندا في عام من الاعوام و التي تتجسد في كلمات اغنية اسمها زومبي لمغنية مشهورة قررت ان اصور مدى الضلم و القمع الذي يحصل في #ساحة_التحرير الذي يشبه بشكل كبير ما عاناه الايرلنديون و انتجت هذا العمل
.
في عمر لا يتجاوز الثلاثة وعشرين عاماً، كتبت الشابة الايرلندية دولوريس أو ريوردان ولحنت أغنية "Zombie". كلمات الأغنية جعلتها تصنف مباشرة ضمن الأغاني الاحتجاجية وفي نسخة الأغنية المصورة كانت هناك العديد من الصور المتفرقة للجيش البريطاني وهو يطلق النار أثناء دورية في الشمال الايرلندي، وصور أخرى لشوارع دبلن التي يغطي معظمها البؤس الناتج عن الصراعات المستمرة بين الحكومة البريطانية وبين المعارضة الأيرلندية،

ظهرت الأغنية عام 1994م ضمن ألبوم "لا حاجة للجدال"، وحازت على جائزة أفضل عمل عام 1995م في مهرجان "إم تي في" للأغنية الأوروبية، وظهرت في قوائم متعددة لأفضل الأعمال تاريخياً ضمن التصنيفات العامة أو تحت تصنيفات أغاني الروك.
