These lovely and easy-to-follow chair yoga class will introduce you to the very effective breathing practices that will help you to optimally oxygenate your body, strengthen your lungs and release stress. You'll also practice all seven movements of the spine to keep it healthy and will warm up the big muscles of your body.

This standing chair yoga practice uses a chair as a prop to help you gently stretch all the major muscles of your body, improve brain functions with cross-body movements, strengthen the muscles that support your hip, knee and ankle joints, and improve your coordination and balance.

Materials: Chair, yoga block

Part 3: Seated (45:32 s)

This fun and extremely beneficial chair yoga practice will help you to open your hip muscles and release tension in your entire body with a dynamic seated warrior sequence.
Learn to relieve the stiffness of arthritic fingers with an awesome self-massage.
Learn an effective acupressure knee massage that will allow more blood and oxygen to get into the joint, loosen muscles around your knee and relieve pain.

Relieve your lower back pain, strengthen your core and leg muscles, relieve sciatica and improve your flexibility with this gentle yoga practice designed for active older adults. Practice deep relaxation, let go of mental stress and restore your health by diving into your parasympathetic nervous system.
