September 10, 2013 | This symposium, marking the centenary of Sophia University in Tokyo, will explore challenges and opportunities for Japan-United States relations in the Asia-Pacific. Three panels will examine the bilateral relationship and its regional significance from the perspectives of diplomacy, education, and technology. Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki and former Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg will lead a closing podium discussion.
