France remembers President de Gaulle, 50 years on |

France is commemorating 50 years since the death of iconic leader Charles de Gaulle, who stood up to Nazism, and rewrote the country’s constitution. Every year, 100,000 people visit the cemetery in Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises where the famous general and president is buried.
