Montpellier head coach Rene Girard says their last-gasp winner against Lille on Sunday in Ligue 1 was an emotional moment. The goal, set up by Olivier Giroud and finished by Karim Aït-Fana, left the team from the south on the brink of winning the French championship.

Now, they only need to draw their last game, away at relegated Auxerre, to win it - but Girard said that to secure a Champions League place was in itself a "huge" achievement.
