The bodies of around 1,500 Hamas terrorists have been found in Israel, according to Israeli officials.
No Hamas fighters have crossed into Israel since Monday night, although infiltrations could still be possible, spokesperson Richard Hecht added. It follows a night of relentless bombing as Israel’s president vowed retaliation against the Islamic terrorist group that would “reverberate for generations”. Inside Gaza, two mosques were destroyed, including one which it said was “housing weapons” for Hamas and another that was an “operational headquarters”, according to the Air Force. The 4-day-old war has already claimed at least 1,600 lives. A major question is whether the Israeli military will launch a ground assault after it activated 300,000 reservists in a massive mobilisation.
