Sursangam 2016, a tribute concert to Prof. Suresh Ramaswamy was held on the 15th of October 2016.

We witnessed a divine experience of Dhrupad music on the Rudra Veena by Ustad Baha'ud-din Dagar, accompanied by Pandit Sanjay Pant Agle on the Pakhawaj.

In the concert Aalap Jhod Jaala was performed in Raag Shree following a bandish set to Matt taal, a 9 beat cycle. This was followed by a detailed exposition of Raag Kalyan, followed by bandish set to choutaal.

Prof. Raghurama,, felicitated the artists. Mr. Srinath Ramkumar drew the curtains to the event with a vote of thanks.
