The IEA believes digitalization holds great promise to help improve the safety, productivity, efficiency and sustainability of energy systems worldwide. But it also raises questions of security, privacy and economic disruption. This webinar looks specifically at the risks and opportunities of digitalization for energy efficiency in different demand and supply sectors, and highlights the key role of policy making in ensuring digitalization maximises the efficiency benefits.
